Hole in One wins Car at Killimordaly Hurling Club AM AM

Great excitement at Killimordaly Hurling Clubs AM AM when Padraig Hynes got a hole in one on the 17th to win himself a New Car. When asked what club he used his answer was the 'the nicest 7 Iron I ever hit' and it was all the sweeter it was Padraigs first  his Hole in One. Padraig who is a member of the Loughrea Golf Club and plays off 5 is only recovering from a shoulder injury and was just coming back into form.
The team was not having a good day in the office and were looking forward to getting a bit of grub. Padraig watched his Dad use a 4 Iron and was going to use an 8 Iron but decided at last minute to use a 7 and as he was about to strike the ball teammate Eamon said that wind died a little. He knew it was good as he struck, he knew it was good as he watched the flight, it landed a few feet at the back of the green and rolled into the hole, as he raced to the hole the roars from the team could be heard all over the course. Great that a lad starting out with a new job in need of a car gets a nice little start.
