A chara,
I wish to advise that the Communities Creating Jobs (CCJ) / Western Development Commission (WDC) seminar, supported by the GAA’s National Rural Communities Workgroup, will take place on Thursday, 20th November in Connaught GAA Centre, Bekan, Claremorris, Co. Mayo.
Communities Creating Jobs (CCJ) is a movement of ordinary people based throughout Ireland who wish to do something positive and innovative on a voluntary basis to address the twin issues of unemployment and involuntary emigration.    http://www.ccj.ie/

The Workgroup believes that this information session may be of benefit to clubs/communities in rural areas who are experiencing serious challenges in relation to emigration, unemployment, depopulation and associated issues.
We have been requested by the organisers to circulate this notice to all GAA Clubs in the Western Development Commission’s area.
I would appreciate very much if you could circulate this notice/invitation to all GAA Clubs in your county.
Thanking you in anticipation of your co-operation in this matter.
Is mise, le meas,
Seosamh Mac Donncha,Iar-Uachtarán CLG/Chairman Rural Communities Workgroup CLG.
